 Reading St.Lucy's  made me realize that humans are selfish and will put themselves first instead.In the end of the story it was shocking to see how much the girls experienced.Claudette and Jeanette has changed extremely out of the pack, and Mirabella is no longer there, since she helped her sister out of embarrassment instead of becoming more human.I think it was wrong kicking Mirabella out of the pack just because she was defending her sister. Preparing for the debate, I was for Claudette, She was smart, independent, and clever out of the pack.Claudette adapted and was fast learn how to be human.During the debate, the team that was for Mirabella made good points on how Claudette was selfish and betrayed her little sister.This point was true and I started to realize nether Claudette or Jeanette are the best wolf girl.I don't think its technically their fault for betraying their little sister instead of helping her because the Nuns only taught them to care only about themselve...

Assimilation is an act, where someone changes their identity to fit in society standards.In my opinion, I think assimilation is a horrible thing society made because it hides originality and make people insecure.Students assimilate by no longer wearing traditional clothes and wear more trendy clothing, they also might stop bringing food from, and try to hide their accent. Students assimilate because they want to fit in and not feel left out or made fun of how they look.I don't think students should give up parts of their cultural identity to a new environment because thats what makes them unique and different, instead of looking like very basic student.Their cultural identity gives a spice to their personality.
